The Andes Mountain Range
The Andes Mountain range runs from the north of South America to the south. The climate is different all the way down. The northern part of it is hottest because it is closer to the equator. The central part of the mountain range is more mild in its temperature. The southern region is much colder because it is nearer to Antarctica. It is a mountain with many animals in the northern and central region. Some animals include the alpaca, Andean mountain cat and the Andean bear.
